Hi wonderful peeps! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Hubby was off work on Saturday and when he is home I definitely make sure I get in as much nourishing food into him and my little ones.
For a mid morning snack I wanted some finger foods that we could all share and wasn’t going to ruin appetites for lunch. I had an avocado I needed to use and wanted to make something different then put it in a salad or use it as a dip. I simply chopped the avocado into into wedges covered them in nutritional yeast, sprinkled salt on and baked for 10 minutes on 180C then carefully flipped them over for another 5. These came out so GOOD!!! Crunchy on the outside and Soft in the centre. My man is not one for vegetables but he and the kids absolutely loved the Avocado fries and even wrapped them in the lettuce leaf and dipped it in home made tomato sauce that hubby made a week ago. I totally recommend making these as a snack and pair it up with raw veggies as I did (lettuce, cabbage, cherry tomatoes or choose your own) some crackers and a sauce of choice to dip them in.
Perfect finger food for the whole family to enjoy!
Big thank you to my dear Friend Sophie @sophienavita for her lovely words today about the new Mini Muncher muesli, protein bars and about me. So lovely to start the week so amazingly
Enjoy the week ahead lovelies! Health and happiness to you all
